A functional roof is a crucial component of your commercial building's structural integrity. It will protect you from the elements and add aesthetic appeal to your property when properly maintained. However, when your roof falls into disarray, a variety of problems can occur. Keep your eye out for the following signs that your commercial roof needs repair:
Commercial roofs are made with materials meant for outdoor conditions, but too much moisture or heat can cause blistering that allows moisture in, weakening your roof's structure. When this happens, your roof ages prematurely, thereby reducing its ability to protect you and your customers or tenants.
Standing water can have incredibly damaging effects on your commercial roofing system. It can cause leaks that deteriorate your roof's integrity, which leads to water intrusion. When water intrudes on your property, it can cause a litany of health hazards associated with mold and bacteria. When you spot standing water on your roof, your roof's support system may be seriously compromised, especially with wooden materials.
Having a drainage system that works well is crucial for the health of your commercial roof. If scuppers or drains are clogged with debris and waste, water pools on your roof. Gaps in flashing can also cause water to permeate the building. Additionally, worn seams and cracks can give water access inside. Keep a sharp eye out for signs of clogged drains and gaps in your roof's flashing. If you notice these signs, you could need commercial roof repair.
Facility managers and commercial building owners know they'll have to consider roof replacement eventually. This type of service often requires a significant investment and halts day-to-day operations while the new roof is installed.
Fortunately, restoration is a cost-effective alternative to re-roofing for some commercial property owners. By implementing our advanced roof restoration systems, we can help restore your facility's roof membrane, extending its life and saving your money.
However, there is a window of opportunity for roof restoration. If 25% or less of your commercial roof needs to be replaced, restoration could be an attractive option for you.
Our licensed roofing technicians promptly identify problem areas and provide accurate estimates for resealing cracks, crevices, and gaps. Our team can also help eliminate and prevent roof leaks, further extending the lifespan of your commercial roofing system. We make it a point to carry out our roof restoration projects in a way that doesn't interfere with your daily operations or business productivity.
Atlas National Roofing takes a step-by-step approach to discover whether your property is suitable for restoration:
Gather Info: Our team will gather as much info about your building and its roofing system as possible. If suitable, we'll speak with your management team to determine factors like the age of your roof and the impact of previous repairs.
Inspect from Below: This step involves inspecting your underlying roof deck. That way, we can identify concerns like areas of water penetration and advanced degradation of your current roof deck.
Inspect from Above: We'll "walk your roof" to get an understanding of your commercial roof's overall condition. We want to be sure that restoration is a feasible option for your roof.
Assessment: We'll consider everything we've learned from the previous steps and advise you on your restoration options. We'll touch on your current roof and which coatings are appropriate. We can also talk about environmental concerns, how long restoration will last, the potential for tax credits, and the best restoration options for your geographic location.

However, regardless of how many DIY videos you study, your skills won't be on par with a professional commercial roofing contractor. Many DIYers claim they can save money by cutting out the pros, but this tactic usually leads to costly mistakes that cause more harm than good.
If you're in need of quality commercial roofing, it's always best to leave it to a reputable, experienced company like Atlas. Here's why:

H-E-B officially opened the doors to its Allen store, the fourth H-E-B location the multiformat retailer has opened in the DFW Metroplex in the past year. The 117,000-square-foot H-E-B Allen store joins the recently opened Frisco, Plano, and McKinney H-E-B locations, as well as six Central Market locations that have been serving DFW shoppers for more than two decades. This newest store opening comes on the heels of the San Antonio-based retailer announcing plans for additional DFW-area H-E-B stores in Melissa, Prosper, and Rockwall. Additionally, H-E-B will introduce Joe V’s Smart Shop by H-E-B to the region, an innovative price format that delivers a uniquely curated assortment of community focused products, with locations planned for W. Continuing its drive into the DFW area, H-E-B introduces this Collin County community to a shopping destination with a commitment to deliver unsurpassed freshness and quality at H-E-B’s everyday low prices. Filled with exciting amenities and innovations that H-E-B is known for, the Allen store has distinctive features such as a True Texas BBQ restaurant; full-service H-E-B Pharmacy with a drive-thru; and Home by H-E-B home décor department featuring furniture, woven textiles, and accent pieces from the Haven + Key and Texas Proud collections.

Additional store highlights include:
The H-E-B Allen store is located at 575 E. Exchange Pkwy in Allen. The store is open seven days a week from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m.
Inside and out, H-E-B designed the store to reflect the character unique to the local community and emphasized environmental sustainability, incorporating several energy-efficient inclusions such as CO2 refrigeration units and LED lighting. The site also features extensive native landscaping throughout the property.
As the largest privately held employer in Texas, H-E-B’s Allen store employs about 750 Partners (employees), most who are from the local area. All job opportunities can be found at H-E-B Careers.
Through its Spirit of Giving philosophy, H-E-B is passionately dedicated to its customers beyond its stores. In the DFW area, H-E-B has officially opened H-E-B stores in Frisco, Plano, and McKinney. H-E-B stores in Alliance and Mansfield are currently under construction.
Earlier this year, the multi-format retailer announced plans to open two Joe V’s Smart Shop by H-E-B stores in Dallas. Joe V’s Smart Shop by H-E-B is part of H-E-B’s family of brands offering an innovative price format that delivers the most relevant, high-quality, fresh products H-E-B is known for at even lower prices. These will become the first Joe V’s Smart Shop by H-E-B locations to open outside the Houston area.

H-E-B opens in Allen on Wednesday at 6 a.m. across from Allen High School’s $60 million football stadium and its parking lot where the food-consuming tailgating happens.
It’s the fourth store the San Antonio-based grocer has built since it announced its expansion into Dallas-Fort Worth in March 2021. Eight more have been announced.
The Allen Eagles drum line and cheerleaders will entertain a spirited crowd of shoppers that’s likely to show up if past grand openings are an indication.
Here’s what to know about the Allen store at 575 E. Exchange Parkway.

With this store, H-E-B became a sponsor of one of the largest high school football stadiums in Texas. H-E-B paid $75,000 for a three-year sponsorship of the Allen Eagles football stadium that seats 18,000.
The 117,000-square-foot box designed for Dallas-Fort Worth’s suburban markets is similar to the stores that opened last year in Frisco and Plano and earlier this year in McKinney. The store is the first of four in the northern suburbs east of U.S. 75. Kroger is right across from H-E-B on N. Greenville Avenue.
But the Allen location is on a smaller lot. There’s a Hat Creek Burger Company restaurant and a Starbucks along Exchange Parkway. There’s no room for H-E-B’s gasoline pumps and car wash.
The new store doesn’t have a drive-through for its True Texas BBQ restaurant but there are six spots for curbside pickup from the eatery facing its Greenville Avenue side.
The pharmacy has a drive-through on the west side of the store next to curbside pickup spaces.
Everything else is the same: the big prepared meals and sushi section in the front, the bakery with its signature tortillas, the large beauty department and a home goods section.
The store is decked out for fall with pumpkins and live foliage out front.
Inside the H-E-B brand shop shoppers may snap up the novelty H-E-B bakery flour tortilla throw blanket. It’s made of polyester fleece and is round with a 55-inch diameter. Priced at $16.
About 100 of the blankets will be at the Allen store when it opens, said H-E-B spokeswoman Mabrie Jackson.
Don’t browse the home section when you have a basket of frozen or refrigerated food. H-E-B introduced two new lines of home décor last year before it opened Frisco and Plano.
The Haven + Key collection includes mirrors, candles, throw pillows, kitchen textiles, rugs, throw blankets and preassembled accent furniture. The Texas Proud collection features cowhide area rugs.
The grocer is known for its Texas-shaped tortilla chips and chicken nuggets and carries the theme into the home section with such items as Texas-shaped ice cube trays and Longhorn cookie cutters.

Construction in Allen is set to begin Sept. 4 and expected to be finished by the end of the month, according to state records. The venue will have a 43,000-square-foot indoor-outdoor entertainment complex that will include a two-story casual restaurant and sports bar.
Bruce Heller, president of JaRyCo and developer of The Farm in Allen, said he has been interested in having a Chicken N Pickle there for years and is excited to see the project moving forward.
“We are very selective in the amenities and companies we invite to The Farm in Allen to ensure we are creating a top development that will be a part of the Allen community for years and decades to come,” Heller said. “With this in mind, we believe Chicken N Pickle will be a great addition to The Farm.”
Chicken N Pickle joins other family-friendly venues at The Farm in Allen, including The Hub, an open-air entertainment and restaurant venue that is one of the development’s anchors that opened in November, and Austin-based High 5 Entertainment, an almost 70,000-square-foot, two-story entertainment center that will have miniature golf, bowling, laser tag, axe throwing, escape rooms and a restaurant and bar. High 5 is expected to open early next year.
